The Company

The Company Ltd. "Bourlak plus" was created in Kaliningrad in 2000.

The Certificate of state registration of the company (registration No 796 of April 13 2000) is given by the Administration of Octiabrskij district of Kaliningrad, form No 3343 Series KD - OKR of April 13 2000.

The company was organized by the people with great experience of work in the field of marine transport. They were aware of practical problems of ship repair and fleet supply organization quite well. We hardly could remember those symbols of the past like " annual applications of the company " and their "protection" in Moscow, " the typical account sheets ", " the self-supporting basis", large warehouses of shipping companies and ship-repair factories. There are no more Ministries, which coordinated all process of supply, deliveries and repair. The words "norms", "norms-hours", "limits" are in the past so as many absolutely necessary in the past "competent specialists in supply" with their familiarities, friends and experience of getting and receiving of everything. The "masters" and "grandfathers" aiming to push enormous volume of repair to provide themselves up to pension are also in the past. The possibilities of ship-repair factories were exhausted. They are not sufficient to have at disposal materials stocks and to organize an " aggregates-nodal method " of fleet repair. But there is sea and ships. Though ships are getting older.

Many fleet experts remember the volatile slogan " It is impossible to complete the ship repair, it can only be stopped ". The companies' losses from repair demurrage hit the economy resulting in various unnecessary "difficulties" and even to crew conflicts. So almost every crew rushed to protection of foreign trade unions. Transfer of ship stuff from the shipping companies into crewing has also generated additional problems. The "main" and "changeable" crews for the same type of ships have gone. But they have maintained ships techniques for many years. They knew equipment well and ensured competent operation of the equipment having "hidden reserves" on spare parts.

But even in these not comfortable conditions, specialists of mechanic services, super quartermasters and workers of ship-repair companies repair not only Russian ships but also actively attract foreign flags ships to repair.

Creating this site we thought about those companies, which even in unfavorable economic conditions saved both production and potential, devoted themselves to marine business. We made this site also for all who loves sea and who cannot live without it.

During the first year we plan to work only in Russian mode though everything is prepared for English either. But it is more important for us to check up correctness of our solutions practically and on the base of your notes and offers to complete everything in the Russian mode.

We' d attract special attention of producers and big suppliers of spare parts and equipment. Your production is necessary and it will be claimed. It is necessary only to learn which way to introduce your possibilities to the consumers with the least costs. Recently lot of people practiced in preparation of expensive telephone books. We have already passed this stage.
